Thanksgiving is a cool holiday, when everyone celebrates food and being thankful for it! But why is this particular holiday the one where the huge feast comes out? Well, the pilgrims had a dinner with the Indians back in the 1600's, which was a pretty big meal considering that the pilgrims hadn't been doing well. Celebrating this has become a tradition, and is one of the reasons why Thanksgiving has a huge dinner. Since Thanksgiving is part of the "holiday season", family and friends too are closer and spend much more time together. Plus, if you have a big family, you are going to need extra food. This holiday serves as a day to spend time with family and eat a huge meal to make everyone feel at home.
